Cash Gopher (powered by myLot) – Get paid while connected to the internet
What would be your impression if you are introduced to a new program that can “earn you money by just doing nothing”? Yes, nothing!
Because that is what Cash Gopher is all about.
With Cash Gopher, they will pay you by just normally using your computer (or not using, as long as it is connected to the internet). According to their FAQ, Cash Gopher will perform various online “chores” and send the results of these “chores” back to the “Mother Gopher”.
Now these “chores” are quite vague to me but my guesstimate is that, Cash Gopher will collect data based on your browsing habits and send these data to their system. With the data collected, they will serve targeted advertisements for you to view.
Another “chore” of the Cash Gopher is that it may use the spare resources of your computer (such as otherwise wasted processing power, RAM and bandwidth). Kinda sounds like the other program that I joined years ago.
Also, you can get paid by referring their program to other people. Cash Gopher will pay your for every new referral that installed their software into their system.
Payment for these “chores” will be reflected on your member’s account on a daily basis and once you have accumulated at least $10 in earnings, you can request for payment via PayPal.
To summarize, Cash Gopher will pay you:
- while you are browsing the internet
- while leaving your computer idle and connected to the internet
- for every referred member who installed Cash Gopher to their computer
And before I forget, Cash Gopher is powered by myLot (and we all know that myLot is probably the best paid to post social network today). If you want to know more about myLot, read my article about it HERE.

Installing Cash Gopher is a severe security and privacy risk. Nobody has a detailed clue on what MyLot does with the information send to the server. Is the connection safe? What information is send? What is done with that information? If you want to participate with Cash Gopher I advice you to just recruit referrals and refrain yourself from installing this potentially dangerous piece of software.
Thanks for the advice, dominick. I am also unsure what myLot will do with the information that they can get from those who had installed their software and the amount of resources they will use from the member’s computer. Well, I just hope they will not intrude too much with each member’s security and privacy.
It seems that your computer may be infected by viruses if you have installed CashGopher plugin.
Besides, I guess you have found that it is difficult to earn a lot with CashGopher, so, now I have uninstalled it.
There is not any problem with security. MYLOT is a trusted program and has been online for some years now.
Well, You are free to track my earnings at
http://www.squidoo.com/earning-with-cashgopher
Well, I’m not sure if my pc did get infected by any malwares, spywares or viruses, but every time I run a virus scan with my anti-virus, no suspicious activities or files were found.
Total earnings as of today is $0.21. heh
Current investigations for ‘actual’ paid work opportunities reveal this one is up there with bux.to as a bit of a stinker. Looks like it is trying to emulate a popular Facebook graphic. The fact that it has the power to overwrite existing site design (ie ad placement code) is a worry, some sites rely on sponsered advertising to remain independent of the inevitable affiliate spin. I’d hate to see the internet going this way and not stop this in it’s tracks. Sickly, trashy thing, have mercy.(boxed)
Sorry it’s late I spelt ‘sponsored’ wrong. CashGopher still stinks
Thanks for your input, boxed.
I have read a few reviews already about Cash Gopher and it seems people’s views on it are of mixed results. For some, they are happy that they are earning a dollar or two everyday with Cash Gopher while others are worried about the security and privacy risks what Cash Gopher software can do with their computers.
Cash Gopher is just a mere month old now and I am still planning to have this on my computer for further evaluation. And I do earn some cents to a dollar everyday with it and most of my earnings came from my referrals (thanks to them).
Thank you Von for referencing me.All the best with your projects. (boxed)
It’s my pleasure to have you here, boxed. Btw, nice site you have there.
nv, anong update dito? medyo takot ako maginstall ng kung ano ano sa PC ko e unless sure ako hehehe
Hello Sansan.
Medyo mabagal ang kita dito. Since September 1, 2010 and with 19 referrals, ang total earnings ko palang ay $1.28. Sabagay wala ka naman kasi ginagawa for this program, basta lang naka-install lang sya sa computer mo at active sya sa background. So far wala pa naman ako nakukuha virus or trojan at hindi ko naman napapansin yun pagbagal sa internet ko.
I think there is a similar online program like this which pays higher rate per referral of $1 if accepted…
Ang concern ko is: “Another “chore” of the Cash Gopher is that it may use the spare resources of your computer (such as otherwise wasted processing power, RAM and bandwidth).”
I think this is a big issue dun sa other program…eh mahina na nga internet ko kukunan pa nila…
Yes, cash gopher is a legitimate program.
I have yet to get paid by this program. Have you been paid already? Could you please share some proof of payment?
how much cashgopher will paid us every 1 hour ?
Frankly, I haven’t learned about how they really compute the earnings per hour. Only Cashgopher knows the real score.
