WebAnswers.com – earn money with this Q & A site

24 May 2011 1,295 views 11 Comments

WebAnswers.com is a FREE Question and Answer site, just like Answers.com and Yahoo! Answers. In WebAnswers, members can ask questions and provide answers to vast categories of topics and earn extra money because of its Google Adsense Revenue sharing program.

After registration to the site, a member must first provide answers to 10 questions. Doing this first step will enable the Google Adsense revenue sharing on that member’s WebAnswers account. The next step is for the member to create a new Google Adsense account (within WebAnswers) and/or link his/her existing Google Adsense account with his/her WebAnswers account.

Once linked, Google Adsense ads will start to randomly appear to all that member’s questions and awarded answers. These ads will only be viewable by other members, so a member cannot click his/her own ads – by accident.

Revenue share is split 60:40 in favor of the members. A member who asked a question can choose the best answer among the numerous answers received. If a member’s answer has been chosen as the best answer, then that member’s Adsense ads will be displayed on that topic from then onwards. As for those members whose answers did not get that much regarded best answer mark, Google Ads will rotate to all the members who participated in that question.  It is like reaping royalties from your products after you have produced and distributed them. Nice! :)

WebAnswers also has a Referral Program in which a referrer can gain 10% of the impressions made by his/her referred member.

My first day with WebAnswers, I made 10 answers and created 1 question. Next day, I checked my Google Adsense account and from WebAnswers, I got 31 impressions, 1 click and earned $0.17. Not bad for my first day try-out and I was not even serious in answering those questions. :)

Of course, in order to view these earnings from WebAnswers, you must first create a custom URL channel inside your Google Adsense account. Steps in creating URL channels can be read here: http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=13993

    Hi, Von,

Found out is not that easy to get application approval. I received this email:

After reviewing your account we have decided that we are unable to enroll you into WebAnswers at this time.

Please do not create any additional accounts. All subsequent attempts will be blocked and removed from the platform.

    Thanks for your understanding.

Hmmm… based on comments from other Webanswers posters, perhaps you have posted comments on already awarded answers or your answers are very short or one-liner.
Perhaps you can post more on Webanswers and try re-applying for Google Adsense again?
Did Webanswers already cancelled your account and you cannot login anymore?
